Appearance Tech. yellow brown liquid. M.p.2-5℃. B.p.Exothermic decomposition above 140℃. V.p.0.39mPa(30℃); 13mPa(55℃). Solubility in water 39mg/l(pH7,20℃). In acetone, dichloromethane, methanol, isopropanol, ethyl acetate and polyethyleneglycols>500, n-hexane 11.1(all in g/l, 20℃). Stability Stable to light. Hydrolysed by aqueous acids and alkalis.
Toxicity
Oral Acute oral LD50 for rats 82, dogs>320mg/kg. Skin and eye Acute orall LD50 for rats>1100mg/kg. No skin or eye irritation. Inhalation LC50(4h) for rats 0.531mg/l air. Toxicity class WHO (a.i.) Ⅰ.
Application
Broad-spectrum insecticide and acaricide with contact and stomach action. Non-systemic but penetrates deeply in plant tissues. Control of aphids, thrips, midges, beetles, lepidopterous larvae, cutworm and other soil insects, spider mites and other species of mites, etc. in ornamentals, fruit trees, vines, bananas, strawberries, vegetables, oilseed rape, cererals, sugar beet, sugar cane, maize, soya beans, peanuts, guavas, mangoes, oil palms, olivers, cotton, coffee, rice, grassland, and in forestry.
