Appearance Tech. pale yellow crystalline powder. M.p.79.2℃. V.p.37mPa(20℃). Solubility Soluble in water 47mg/l(20℃). In acetone 229, dichloromethane 603, ethyl acetate 148, methanol 28.5, toluene 198(g/l, 20℃). Stability Stable to at least 300℃. Stable in acid and in neutral solution; at PH 9.18 DT50 7.6d(25℃). No significant breakdown in water in natural sunlight.
Toxicity
Oral Acute oral LD50 for mice>4000, rats>6000, dogs>5000mg/kg. Skin and eye Acute percutaneous LD50 for rats>2100mg/kg; not irritant to skin and eyes of rabbits. Not a sensitizer. Inhalation LC50(4h)>5.5mg/l. Low acute to toxicity by inhalation route. Toxicity class WHO (a.i.) Ⅲ.
Application
Selective, systemic, growth-regulator herbicide. Post-emergence control of many annual broad-leaved weeds, particularly black bindweed, common chickweed, cleavers, and charlock, in oilseed rape. In combination with other herbicide, used for control of a wider range of broad-leaved weeds in oilseed rape, cereals, grassland, clover, alfalfa, and flax.
